One of the best parts of wedding planning is designing your honeymoon vacation! Since moving to New Smyrna Beach in 2024, I’ve loved exploring the area and finding dreamy honeymoon locations in Florida to recommend to my couples. I may be a little biased, but I think Florida has some of the best honeymoon destinations in the country. Keep reading to find our top picks!
When is the best time to travel to Florida?
Florida is known for having nice, warm weather year-round. However, don’t forget about hurricane season, which runs from June 1 to November 30. It’s also very humid in the summer months. We recommend traveling to Florida in the winter and spring. There won’t be as much traffic or as hot.
Depending on your budget, 7-10 days in Florida will leave you feeling refreshed. That is plenty of time to do everything you want to, no matter where you pick for a vacation.
Packing List for a Florida Honeymoon
It’s important not to overpack for a Florida honeymoon. You’ll probably be spending a lot of time at the beach, but here are some extra things you might forget or want to have with you!
